Race starts at 10:00 am

NEW YEAR’S BRUNCH goes until 12:00 pm. You will enjoy PANCAKES, HOT COCOA STATION, HOT CIDER, CRAFT BEER SAMPLING, and music!

Parking, Packet Pickup and the Start Line are at Old Concord Station. This is a point to point race that ends at the post race celebration at McCullough Commons. Runners will get a FREE light rail pass to ride the train back to their car after the post race celebration.

LOCATION

Start Line – Old Concord Station (5442 N. Tryon St.)

Finish Line – McCullough Commons (230 E WT Harris Blvd)

PARKING IS FREE.

RIDE THE LIGHT RAIL! Each Participant receives an all-day LYNX pass so hop on at any stop and join us at Old Concord Station for a morning of New Year’s fun!

PRE-REGISTRATION PACKET PICKUP

You will receive your SWAG bag with race bib number with safety pins. Pick up early to avoid the lines on race day!

RACE DAY REGISTRATION AND PACKET PICKUP

8:30 AM – 10:00 AM Registration and packet pick-up near the starting line. Stay tuned for more details. SWAG includes race bib with timing chip, a fabulous long sleeve runner’s shirt, headband, and other goodies. We will GUARANTEE YOUR SIZE if you register by December 5th.

The New Year’s Day 5K, presented by Atrium Health, raises awareness about hunger challenges in Charlotte, specifically in University City. Donations made will support Hope Street Food Pantry, , the first community food bank to open in the 28269 zip code.
