Race starts at 10:00 am
NEW YEAR’S BRUNCH goes until 1:00 pm. We will kick it off with PANCAKES, HOT COCOA STATION, HOT CIDER, CRAFT BEER SAMPLING, music and family friendly activities inlcuding a fun run for the kids.
VIP TICKETS score you two post event MIMOSAS and a commemorative glass to toast your accomplishment in a cozy, heated tent. VIP tickets are limited so register early!
JW Clay Blvd Station
PARKING IS FREE.
Catch the light rail train at any stop and take it to the Old Concord Road station (JW Clay Blvd and Old Concord Road Stations will have registration service available.)
You will receive your SWAG bag with race bib number with safety pins. Pick up early to avoid the lines on race day!

Registration and packet pick-up is at the JW Clay Station parking deck next to the 3rd level pedestrian bridge.
SWAG includes race bib with timing chip, a fabulous long sleeve runner’s shirt, headband, and other goodies. We will GUARANTEE YOUR SIZE if you register by December 1st. Kids who participate in the fun run will receive a train whistle!
The New Year’s Day 5K presented by Atrium Health raises awareness about hunger challenges in Charlotte. The race proceeds will benefit Camino Food Pantry, Hope Street Food Pantry and Jamil Niner Student Pantry, all food pantries serving hundreds of families in need in University City.

Bag Drop will be located near the start of the race at North Tryon St and Old Concord Road. Bag drop will close sharply at 9:45 am.
This event is open to the public and is a great way to start your New Year. Well-mannered and social four legged friends are welcome if kept on a non-retractable lead.
